The Abbott ANSR Gamma Counter is an automated instrument for counting the
radioactivity in biomedical test samples. It is designed for use in hospital
clinical laboratories, blood banks and private laboratories by trained
clinical laboratory technicians familiar with radioisotopes.
It is primarily designed for use in counting low energy radioisotopes
such as I-125 and Co-57. High energy isotopes may be counted but with
multiple tubes waiting to be counted, an increase in background may be
noted.
